The main quest is interesting revolving around a
rivalry that takes place in the island. The story is unrelated to the setting
which made the plot seem disconnected with other events happening on the
island. You would expect to find out more about the tribes and locals of Point
Lookout by completing the main quest but instead you go on this tangent plot
line of characters that migth as well have inhabited the Wasteland. The new
weapons are mostly for mele attacks which is the least interesting combat
feature of the game. The new clothing is also not as interesting as what's
included in other download packs (i.e. the stealth armor from Operation
Anchorage). The area itself of point lookout is much more interesting to
explore than that of any other download packs but still not as interesting to
explore as the wasteland. The new enemies have a tendency to run directly at
you which makes combat less strategic and interesting than on the main quest.
The side quests included are much more fun and varied than on any other DLC
pack for Fallout however you do not get achievements for every single quest
which takes away from your willingness to do everything. Overall, I would still
buy this because it is reasonably priced and allows me to play some more
Fallout!
