Firstly let me say that I was greatly looking forward to this game. I have played all of the Devil May Cry Games (though not completed them all) and thus was really excited to see new take on the DMC gameplay. Initially I was really pleased with what I was greeted with. The graphics were beautiful (I played the 360 version), the soundtrack was catchy and most importantly the game play was fun. Sadly however by the time I was about a third of the way though the game I was no longer sold. The graphics were still great and the boss battles were amazingly OTT but this could not save the fact that the combat (and the soundtrack) felt as though they had just become very repetitive and I found myself simply not caring what happened next and I not bothered as to whether I finished the game or not... and I never did (which speaks volumes in my opinion).
