Nice tweaks this year

This year's game has made gameplay tweaks to make the game more refined. Notably the Gameflow system has been tweaks to make it a viable option after the terrible introduction last year. The presentation has been much improved, but the lack of a real halftime or postgame show stands out because the improved the visual presentation so much. The commentary took a step back, and is now a real distraction this year. I feel the actual gameplay is improved this year. The new tackling engine works as well as advertised, so with a player like Arian Foster you can make precise cuts while going through the line and not be sucked into a tackle via canned animation. There are many tweaks to the game that aren't major, but add up to a much improved experience overall. The biggest negatives are the commentary and the lack of a tutorial for new players or players returning to the series after a break.
