I would like to start by stating that this is one of my favorite games of all time. Bully takes a perspective that no other game as ever taken, and runs with it. Jimmy Hopkins is a 15 year old trouble maker that moves to Bullworth Academy. The story takes on a GTA type formula where you do missions as "favors." The story mode has some great characters and missions that kept me entertained throughout. It's like a work your way up the food chain kinda thing. One thing that stands out the most compared to other open world games is that this one takes place at a high school. There's all the certain clicks like the geeks, greasers, jocks, and the rich kids. Each of these factions have there missions and almost none of them are ever the same. As you do missions for these different types of people you unlock weapons, abilities, and some street cred. But Bully is also like a high school simulator. You have classes that you need to attend ( All of the classes are small mini games.). There's things like curfew and you can even pass out if you don't get to bed. The presence of police are also here. When outside of the school, If you do something bad. The police will come and try to get you. There's a lot to do on the side also. You can compete in bike and go kart races, do the newspaper route and so much more. Bully compared to other PlayStation games looks decent graphically. There's a noticeable pop up issue ( Mostly when riding a bike or go kart.). The games sound is also good. There's so many lines of dialogue I can tell you how many. The soundtrack is a catchy tune that plays in the background of gameplay. The only problem is that it gets repetitive after a while and I wish that they would've added a couple more songs. Overall I highly recommend this game. You can easily spill HOURS of gameplay into it. The story is interesting and the missions are unforgettable. If your looking for a new take on open world action you really owe it to yourself to check this out.
