I remember turning on my grandma's computer, searching through her pre-installed games, and playing minesweep. Once that got boring and tedious and I failed multiple times I'd go back to the game list and search the games for something better. Finally I found "Hover!", a "capture the flag" game where you play as a pair of hover crafts. The graphics were no where near spectacular and Microsoft Game Studio was clearly experimenting with textures and 3D environments but there's something charming about this game. Perhaps it's the simplicity of pressing the up button and maneuvering around a basic map or maybe the amount of time killed playing this game but I found this game extremely fun. If I was to play this game now I may not feel the same, however the nostalgia of playing it would definately keep me entertained for at least a little while.
If you can download this game I would recommend trying it. It's not the best game for 1995 but it was entertaining.
Thank you for reading this review. I hope it helped you to decide whether to play this or not.
(also, the title of this review is "Where'd it go?" because this game has almost literally dropped off the face of the planet)
