While the first Dead Space had you isolated by yourself on a massive ship, Dead Space 2 puts you on a human colony fighting the Necromorphs. In many ways this change in focus in the series from an solitary horror action to a more action focused sequal parreles the change from Alien to Aliens. Whats great is that neither one of these games/movies is bad. While not as terrifying as the first game you'll certianly get some good jolts and the game is more disturbing this time around. The action is intense and satisfying, the story is engagin and keeps stringing you along, and the game is fun enough o make you want to complete it again and again. The multiplayer is actually really fun, but it certainly has parralels to Left 4 Dead. However the actual gameplay is differant enough for their o be a marked differance and its quite a bit of fun. Dead Space 2 is a great game that any Sci Fi, Action, or Horror fan should check out.
