I was pretty skeptical of Crysis 2 after a buggy and laggy multiplyer demo but whatever Cryrtek learned from it, they learned well. Crysis 2 is crisp and tight. The controls are responsive and dialed in making it easy and fun to move and shoot. The ability to swap out weapon attachments on the fly is great and helps stretch the limited, by COD standerds, armoury. The suit abilities give you unique powers wihtout making you a super soldier. The suit turns just another FPS into a something else. The suit also grants primarily armour, movemnt, and stealth abilties. These are key to overcoming the challenges of open spaces. Tactics and stealth are required to sucesfully clear the large open areas, but the corridor sequences can be a little lackluster. These require little mroe strategy than toggling on armour and blazing away. The graphics are pretty incredible and are definatley the best the console has to show. Unfortuantley there is some significant lag when there are too many enemies on screen. This lag is never game breaking, but it is very annoying. The multiplyer is far more refined than its demo version with many of the glitches taken out. For the most part it runs smooth, and the new suit abilites add a lot of dimension to the game. Crysis 2 is definatley the best shooter to come out so far this year, which isn't saying too much. Anyway I would get this for sure if you are a shooter fan but if your PC can run it you may want to go that route to bypass the lag issues.
