NO GAME WILL EVER COME CLOSE TO THE PERFECTION OF MGS

Amazing, life-like visuals make you do a double take. "Am I watching a movie or is this Metal Gear Solid?" you'll find yourself shouting almost every time you see a FMV or "cut scene" as they're calling it (apparently they're in-engine but I severely doubt it, so I'm saying FMV).

The graphics are astonishing, the single best on any system. You can sort of make out Snakes face if you squint and characters all have a separate thumb on each hand. Realistic stuff. There will never be graphics more life-like than these graphics.

Every sound was like a symphony of awesome in my ears. The music was intense (best music of any game ever, should've been nominated) and the sound effects were the most realistic ever in a game. The really loud noise you would make when crouching would echo indoors but NOT when outdoors!

The story in Metal Gear Solid is the single greatest ever written. I'm surprised it didn't get nominated for an Oscar because those performances were better than any movie. "Can love bloom on the battlefield?" Whoa there, Mr. Hayter, I think it just did.

Control is a cinch as you accidentally press against walls when trying to run past them or perhaps you'll find yourself wanting to run and shoot your gun at the same time. No problem, just hold X and Square, no, wait, R1 and--you know what? Whatever it is, this aiming system is perfect and will never need to be improved. MGS's gameplay is perfect.

In conclusion, this is simple the greatest game of all time and it reshaped gaming and I wish I'd never played any single other game before (or probably after) Metal Gear Solid. Stop innovating, game developers, because we've got the winning formula right here.

Get rid of all games except Metal Gear Solid for it is perfect.
