Exciting and enjoyable despite bugs.

I recently purchased the Wii version of Spider-Man, shattered dimensions. Spider-man is my favorite Marvel hero, and hearing all the voices I remember for him all in one place is a big sell for me.

The game itself is very well-acted and the voice-acting and script is very good. Though, there were times where dialogue would play before I entered the room it was meant for, and it would repeat, or they would not talk at all. Confusing at first, luckily I didn't miss any important gameplay because of it.  Amazing spider-man was definitely the most talkative, and has the most variety of attacks. I loved the speed and webslinging mechanic, and it seemed to work very well. When still, spidey would even switch into his signature hanging pose, which prompted a few squees from me.   His levels seemed the second-most solid.

Noir  seemed to pull part out of arkham asylum and turn spidey into Bat-spider. Frankly, this universe was the most enjoyable for the sheer variety of tactics. You could run up and melee foes to death just as the others did, Or you could use stealth and pull quick-kills(okay spidey-never killed anyone directly) which was much more interesting. I've always been a fan of stealth games, This level had a lot of bugs with dialogue being out of place, and Was the first place I ran into Hammerhead and died at least 30 times before the game remembered to tell me how to dodge his head butts. Once that frustration was over, I didn't have the problem anymore. Also the fact that Noir was voiced by the actor I most remember from my childhood didn't hurt.

2099 looked very cool, I didn't have many problems with this world, Except his freefall parts. But, i've never been good at that.

Ultimate was the world i had the most trouble with. even though this was the world I was most looking forward to seeing, it was the buggiest. The levels with Deadpool and Carnage were especially frustrating, because of confusing, overly large levels, or just very bad bugs that caused doors to not open, or not close and not allow you to progress in the level further. I did enjoy his fighting style the most. I've always liked the whole mindless hack n' slash.

Overall, despite as few bumps and grumps, the game was overall very cool and fun and definitely replayable to get the gold metals and al the costumes and moves.
