The game lays out it's cards early with a brutal introduction to the characters and the world. After some fairly weak opening levels Wolfenstein really finds its stride as the compelling, and surprisingly well written, story picks up and you get into the swing of the combat.
The game looks to provide the player with a lot of combat choices allowing you to be stealthy or a brawler, pick people off at range and it happy to allow you to switch between styles are you feel fit.
Plus you get to kill Nazis in all kinds of gruesome ways
