A short but sweet review (yes, I beat the game). An abysmal hallway crawl. A shallow storyline. A horribly repetative and over-used cover system. This. Game. Sucks. I don't know any other way to put it. The combat is clunky. The gameplay stinks. There are so many things wrong with this game. It's an absolute rental - if that. I played this game for nearly 6 hours straight. Before this game, I'd never played a Civilization game before. I'm not even a big fan of RTS games either. This game is great. There are a few goofy things, like Napoleons douche-baggy witty quirks and the fact that Ghandi is probably the best military I've played as so far. The cut-scenes are great. "This is the best game I've never played." For an alpha, it's worth all 13.00. I got $13.00 worth of fun on the first night of playing this game. I'll let the reviews and hype speak for itself. A wonderful 1-man dev team, soon to expand. This game is going nowhere but upwards and boy - is it FUN and ADDICTING. One of the most original and fun games I've played in years.
