I have always loved the bomberman series (at least the 2D bomberman series), so I was really excited at the idea that I cold play bomerman on my iPhone. The game stays true to the series and involves blowing up all your enemies in various different mazes in order to progress on some Indiana Jones inspired quest to find some thing.... I really didn't care about the story and there is a lot of dialogue that gets in the way between levels.
The problem I found with this game is the controls are just not responsive enough. Basically you tap your finger on any part of the screen and four arrows will appear showing your different options of movement, by sliding your finger in the direction of one of these arrows your character will move. In the bottom left hand corner of the screen is the bomb button you tap. I constantly found myself tapping multiple times before a bomb was laid and as for the movement of the character all I will say is that most deaths in this game will come from your own bombs as you slide your finger furiously around the screen trying to get your character the desired 2 feet away from the bomb to avoid harm.
I will keep on playing it because as always it is very addictive but for the price I wouldn't recommend tis game.
