The Best ROTK

 In my opinion, this is the greatest Romance Of The Three Kingdoms games out of all of them. This was the first ROTK to allow players to have relationships with other warriors, instead of just killing one another. It introduced aspects such as sworn brotherhoods or even marriage. This game allows you to create your own warrior and decide if he is a noble leader, or a loyal follower. It is up to the player to guide the warrior through the war and it gives the choice of who to fight for. You can also be a wandering warrior, this is where you do not serve anybody and can travel the land and view wars come and go from a distance. The graphics are not great but there is so much depth within this game and so many choices that you make, you can look beyond its limited graphics.
 
I found myself enjoying the social aspect of this game rather than the RTS style combat, wondering who to fight for, making friends and then getting married.

It's a real shame they decided to drift away from the social essence in the later games and focuses more on the combat side. I have always wanted an up to date version of this exact game with the same options that ROTK 8 brings combined with the combat of Dynasty Warriors. Some people have told me that they do this in the Dynasty Warriors Empires games, but they do not do it as nearly as good as this game. WE WANT THIS GAME BACK!
