On Par -- if not Better than -- the Portal Series

The Talos Priniciple is truly a wonderful game. When I started playing, I had a hard time quitting for several nights in a row, and I usually have several games I rotate through, like right now: Fallout 4, Xenoblade, Pillars Of Eternity, and Invisible, Inc. When I loaded up Talos once to "try" it, I looked at the clock and it was 6 hours later, and all week long I had forgotten about those other games. It's one of those games where the progress felt really good, and the puzzles were like corn dogs for my brain -- you know, good stuff. When I was away, I would think about the game -- the puzzles themselves and the mysterious story that surrounds the game. The puzzles can be difficult, but the game teaches you along the way, stepping up the difficulty each time. There are lots of hidden content and easter eggs. I didn't find them all, but it was fun to do some of them. It's a rewarding experience -- maybe one of the best puzzle games I have ever played -- it's been a while since I have played Portal 2, and right now is a great time to get into it. I highly recommend it.
