I don't usually play fighting games, but I was compelled to buy this game. The last fighting games I played was Tekken 5 and I didn't really get into it. SSFIV suprised me and was easy to get into it even for a beginner like me. I learned some characters fairly quickly and pretty soon I tried the online play and I started to win some matches.
