Most games make you feel like a victim and a martyr. SOTC will make you feel like a villain. Play as Wander, a wondering young man who try to bring his girlfriend back to life. By satisfying a God to kill Colossi. Everytime Wander kills a big beast victory music isn't played but rather sad game over style music as the lumbering behemoth falls to it's demise. It will elicit a feeling of regret in these baron wastelands for these selfish deeds .

This one is divisive but Heavy Rain does display a wide array of emotions through it's characters. The choices we make in Heavy rain always matter.
The Walking dead is tough. Sometimes I even felt sad for the bad guy who was a cannibal. The ending of the walking has a sad ending.

Unlike the God of Wars before it, GOW takes a more subtle approach. It's known for being a third person walking simulator with combat thrown in but shows a story where players sometimes fight or solve a puzzle. The story is a growing up tale between father and son. Kratos is a dad now to a new son, the two go around the world to spread their mother's ashes. It's very somber.
