Al Lowe

Silent genious of Sierra On-Line fame. Was perhaps overshadowed by superficial stuff in the Leisure Suit Larry games that was brought up by shallow people.

Goichi Suda

2. Goichi Suda

Originality in visual design is scarce in an industry of Alien/Star Wars, and Grindhouse clones. Killer 7 and No More Heroes proves the exception. Of course he's not alone in the creative process, Grasshopper's visual department is a gold mine apparentely.

Keita Takahashi

3. Keita Takahashi

When it all comes down to it, video games are about having fun and sadly it's less and less about creating your own fun. Takahashi stands as one of the last bastions of this thinking.

Clint Hocking

4. Clint Hocking

Not only did he redefine the stealth genre twice with the original Splinter Cell and then with Chaos Theory but then he was lucky enough that Ubisoft owned the Far Cry name to be able to sell one of the most underrated games of all time. Far cry 2, a game where great design decisions went either unnoticed or annoyed people who assume to be funneled along through whole games.

Peter Molyneux

5. Peter Molyneux

Often times left people dissapointed but being the founder of Bullfrog Studios, a pioneer within the god game genre with Populous, A big proponent of morality in games with Dungeon Keeper, Black & White and Fable, that's a big bagage to carry. Oh also Syndicate.

Jason Rohrer

6. Jason Rohrer

One man has the power to affect people emotionally trough a series of pixel art screens.

Erik Wolpaw
