Originally, I didn't have any firm plans on jumping in on the new consoles this year, but here we go - turns out it was a good time to get in on Series X just before Forza Horizon 5 and Halo: Infinite hit.
A great year for (great running and looking) games on a freshly upgraded PC and on Series X!

(PC) I've been playing a ton of the OG D2: LoD (HC) with a friend over the past year and a half, so getting in on this remaster was a no-brainer. Probably one of the most impressive remasters I have ever played, tons of lovingly (re-)created detail and a surprisingly good implementation of controller support (minus the menu controls that are quite frankly intolerable).

(PC) it was actually a really good experience with very few blatant (and *zero* game-breaking) bugs - apparently, PC was the way to go on this one finished the game in early 2021, or at least that's what GoG Galaxy claims
(Series X) Whelp, it's a standalone version of a past DLC that the wife and I already played - it's... still fine I guess? Hard to get too excited about, performance in splitscreen is very nice on Series X, I'll say that!
