zAMERICANLIONz: Best of 2010
I didn't get a chance to play that many games this year since I didn't have much free time between school and work, but here are top 10 and honorable mentions (aka all the other games from this year that I played)
Honorable Mentions:
Game Dev Story
Heavy Rain
God of War 3
Dead Rising 2
Starcraft 2
Alan Wake
Gran Turismo 5
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days the visuals alone are reason enough to check this game out even if it only in the form of a demo

Deadly Premonition

1. Deadly Premonition

Game of the Year, you can call me Game of the Year that's what everyone calls me. Even though I never owned or played this game, I can honestly say that I have enjoyed another game more this year than Deadly Premonition (vicariously or not).

Mass Effect 2

2. Mass Effect 2

Easily the best game I have played this generation. There really isn't much I can say about his one that hasn't already been said other than the fact that Thane is the best character in a Bioware game since Wrex.

Fallout: New Vegas

3. Fallout: New Vegas

Buggy as it is, I still couldn't resist putting 60 hours into this game across two play throughs and I am looking forward to going back to it for a third time when I have some free time again (which probably won't be until 2012 considering next year's line-up).

Pac-Man Championship Edition DX

4. Pac-Man Championship Edition DX

This game is damn near perfect in every respect. Much like ME2, there isn't really I anything I can say about it other than everyone should play it. "I want to take a bath in this game."

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West

5. Enslaved: Odyssey to the West

I am so glad that I picked up this game even though I was not expecting to enjoy it nearly as much I did. I can't even put my finger on what exactly resonated with me so much in this game but it was a lot like the first time I played Beyond Good & Evil. There is just something about the characters and the game world that sucks you in a doesn't let go. From the second you jump up the wing of the plane right before the section you were just on gets ripped off my a building you know you are in for one hell of a ride.

Picross 3D

6. Picross 3D

The Best DS game have ever bought. There is just something about that tis game that sucks you in and doesn't let go until the battery on your DS has died.

Bayonetta

7. Bayonetta

This game is bat shit crazy and I LOVE it. If it weren't for the awful platforming part towards the end this might have been higher on my list.

Red Dead Redemption

8. Red Dead Redemption

The game that killed my 360. Its too bad that there is so much to do in this game that I put 25 hours into across two days which resulted in the death of my Xbox. Even so this is a damn fine game and probably would have been the first Rockstar game I beat if I had the chance, and maybe I will someday.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

9. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Still haven't gotten deep into the single-player since I just finished up the campaign of ACII, but the multiplayer alone is enough for it to earn a spot on my list.

Super Street Fighter IV

10. Super Street Fighter IV

This was the first game that I bought a controller specifically for and I cannot say that I regret that decision one bit. Being the first fighting game I have ever truly tried to get better at I must say that even the most shallow layers of complexity which I was able to understand were mind boggling to me. Unfortunately I haven't had much time to play since July but I look forward to getting back into soon. HP>EX Shenkugoshoha>FADC>Shin Shoryuken
