The story, the music, the characters, the gameplay, absolutely every aspect of this game is superb. Easily my GOTY.
One of the campaign missions involves freefalling out of an airplane while trying to take out one of the most dangerous men in the world. Said man is also punching your friend in the face. Do I need to go on with further examples of how awesome this game is, or will that do it?
While I miss customizing my weapons, ME2 was everything it should have been and more.
Beginning the fight was more fun than finishing it.
I stopped playing WoW back during the Ahn Qiraj event. Coming back to it after the Cataclysm was quite jarring, in the best way possible. While a few too many quests still involve killing so many of certain types of creatures, they added a huge amount of unique quest types that take the WoW gameplay in directions I never imagined it going in. Controlling mortars, dropping bombs onto buildings from a flying hippogryph, and flying on the back of a motherfucking dragon are just a few examples of the new experiences available to players. On top of this, the world itself is redesigned in many places, offering fresh visuals to returning players.
Ubisoft made a huge mistake not showing off more of the single player offering in this package. The continued adventures of Desmond and, by extension, Ezio, takes every aspect of AC2, and polishes them to a blinding sheen. The multiplayer won't stand up against Call of Duty, but it's still worth anyone's attention.
I was so infuriated at this title at one point that I had made myself ill. I couldn't stop playing though, because the sense of satisfaction when you succeed at Super Meat Boy is indescribable. Having a great personality doesn't hurt the game either.
Treyarch took what was broken in Modern Warfare 2 and fixed it. The single player has an intriguing plot, the zombies mode returns from WaW and continues to be a great way to kill shit with your buddies, and the multiplayer is more about skill than gaming the system.
It's the dark and serious Zelda style game people have wanted for ages now. Only a whole lot better than that sounds.
The new additions to the SF4 formula in here make it a great starting point for series newcomers, while also being an incredibly well balanced and fleshed out fighter that serious players will enjoy.
