Ironman (YOLO MAAAAAN! ......) mode made this game for me. The discovery of new technology as you progress, the risks of experimenting with marine load-outs on missions. Losing Yeti. The INTENSE excitement I had when I surrounded aliens with my squad and watched shots fire, in the cases where they would miss their shot I'd gesture to my monitor and say something under my breath. This is a GAME-ASS-GAME, though it does have annoying faults; combat bugs (which on ironman, suck balls) and odd mouse/keyboard play.
MAN THIS GAME MADE ME FEEL AWFUL.... but, I enjoyed it.
YO I LIKE STABBING DUDES. Removes tedious trial and error found in the stealth genre. Can't fault a single bit of how it plays. I also think I'd be a pretty awesome bald ninja with tattoos.
Much like Mark of the Ninja, plays super well. Also has a GREAT SOUNDTRACK WOOOOOO!
Colourful and abstract, done well enough that it felt like a game for once (YE FLOWER?).
YO I LIKE POKEMON A LOT AND WHILST THIS CERTAINLY AIN'T THE BEST DS POKEMON, IT'S STILL GOOD!
Open world is great, so many dumb things happen. About 20% of the story is enjoyable, the rest is just straight-up bad. BUT YEAH, gameplay is too fun.
Blizzard played it safe (which makes it an awesome game), but in the process lost out on so many PVP opportunities.
Great tension, online functionality, survival mechanics and environments. Pretty bad combat, although clunky is what it needs obtain its survival feel - more melee options would have helped.
Like Diablo 3, more Halo. Campaign is OK. Multiplayer is awesome, yet playing it safe. Missing out on community driven playlists, forge browser etc. Playlist is also too basic.
