Arguably my favorite Rockstar game of all time. The western aesthetic was done perfectly, the characters and story were phenomenal, and the gameplay it self was always a load of fun. The multiplayer was pretty fun too. It's not perfect, but it was absolutely amazing. My game of the year, most certainly.
Played more of this game than any other this year, and for good reason. So many great times of hanging out in my dorm room and playing for hours with my friends.
I blame this for getting me back into WoW after over a 2 year absence. Remaking the world and the quest lines was exactly what this games needed, and now I....can't....stop......
One of the few games I can think of that is more fun to watch than it is to play....at least for me, since my skills have deteriorated quite a bit since beta. An amazing, super-polished game that I really wish I was better at.
The first CoD I've played since the original Modern Warfare. Turns out, these games are still pretty damn awesome. Online is still super addictive and shooting dudes in the face is still fun.
Kratos is still one bad dude, and God of War III is still a hell of a game in the series. Perhaps not the leap forward that II was, but it's a hell of a game on its own.
I love me a good racing game, and Hot Pursuit is a GREAT racing game, the best I've played since....well, the last Criterion game. Damn, those guys know how to make cars fun as hell.

Blur was awesome. I really wish it had been received better...looks like there won't be a sequel.
