Here's my top 10 games I played in 2014. Destiny isn't on this list because Destiny is a pile of shit.

Nothing I've played in my years of gaming have become as habit forming as Spelunky. Endlessly repayable with secrets hidden in every play through. Dare I say, it's the best roguelike like?
I still haven't beaten this but I don't think any game I played in recent memory has had such strong and lovable characters as Persona 4. At first I was mad I had lost my save data but was excited to be reintroduced to these characters I had fallen in love with. Still, this is a long ass game.
Hearthstone rekindled a love of collectable trading card games I thought I had long lost. The simple pick up and play nature of Hearthstone, combined with the actual depth of card battling is an addictive combo.
If the next Pokemon remakes go as in-depth as Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire go to fix the problems that existed in the original games, we're in for so many treats.
I had a hard time deciding between this and SportsFriends to be honest. Both are simply some of the best local multiplayer games over made. Period.
The Stick of Truth keeps the comedy of the show intact while building a simple yet engaging combat system around it. How the hell did this game end up being as great as it is?!?!
It's like 2048 but better and it came first.
Sledgehammer Games has made the first really big advancement in Call of Duty multiplayer since Modern Warfare and in doing so made Call of Duty feel fresh for the first time since MW2. And it's really dang fun.
The fluidity of the motion combined with the kickassness of piloting a giant mech against other people moving fluidly and also piloting giant mechs is pretty damn cool.
Nintendo STILL has yet to top Double Dash, but Mario Kart 8 is easily the second best in the series.
