S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl

1. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl

Atmospheric, weird Russian RPG/shooter hybrid. I have finished the first hour or so too many times to count.

Mass Effect

2. Mass Effect

RPG/Shooter hybrid in space. I really want to see where the story goes (Ihave even avoided spoilers for Mass Effect 2), but I haven't been able to get past the slightly weird shoot mechanics and cumberson inventory.

BioShock

3. BioShock

Like Mass Effect, the mechanics are off just enough that I have a hard time getting through the game.

Borderlands

4. Borderlands

Hmmm. Four straight RPG/Shooter hybrids, maybe I should stop buying these types of games till I actually finish at least one of them?

Civilization

5. Civilization

Well, of course I have finished a game (too many actually), but I have tried to move up to higher difficulties too many times and always quit and go back to lower levels where I can dominate.

Beyond Good & Evil

6. Beyond Good & Evil

This one fell victim to too many games, not enough time syndrome.

Real-Time Combat

7. Real-Time Combat

Warcraft, C&C, Warhammer - you name it, I have tried it... and failed miserably. Turn-based games are much more my strength, but I am determined to learn how to play RTS some day.

World of Warcraft

8. World of Warcraft

I never got a character to the level cap. I don't have a lot of gaming friends, so having to rely on random people made the experience blah.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

9. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Now that I have completed Fallout 3, maybe I can go back and finally finish this one.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein

10. Return to Castle Wolfenstein

I never got around to this when it was released, and now when I try to play it feels dated in some weird way I can't quite explain.
