I didnt play everything this year. I think this was good year for not playing the big ones. Too much vanilla out there this year. Heres the gems and the blockbusters with something decent to offer other than some red barrels.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown

1. XCOM: Enemy Unknown

Completely blown away by this game. The best VideoGame I've played in years. The tactics were tight and the presentation made me squeal with glee every time I added to my beautiful base.

The Walking Dead

2. The Walking Dead

So close to being number 1. Biggest deal of the year. Amazing story telling that mattered. First game ever that wasnt full of just stupid videogame story tropes.

Mark of the Ninja

3. Mark of the Ninja

Slick Simple. Perfect package.

Hero Academy

4. Hero Academy

Played 3-5 matches a day EVERYDAY.

Thirty Flights of Loving

5. Thirty Flights of Loving

True game film making. This is an important game.

FTL: Faster Than Light

6. FTL: Faster Than Light

Biggest surprise this year. FTL asks you to full immerse yourself into a game spaceship and its story and think on the fly as you manage it. Failure is almost as much fun as success and that's something special.

ZombiU

7. ZombiU

Most original experience of the year. Feels like the first time I played Resident Evil mixed with Condemned. Completely underrated and wrote off.

Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers

8. Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers

My kind of game. Weird, simple, and has 1 good trick that no other game has.

Rayman: Jungle Run

9. Rayman: Jungle Run

Hey guess what, my iphone is better than your DS.

Mass Effect 3

10. Mass Effect 3

Stupid story. Dope Multiplayer.
