Before the Echo

1. Before the Echo

4/5 - Neat idea. Terrible, terrible writing. It's basically Stepmania + RPG spells + storyline. Check it out.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

2. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

5/5 - Second one is much better but that doesn't mean this game is anything but fantastic. More variety than "among thieves," but also WAY MORE GRENADES BEING THROWN OH MY GOD.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

3. Star Wars: The Old Republic

4/5 - I stopped around level 27 but I'd like to go back when I have more free time

Metal Gear Solid

4. Metal Gear Solid

3/5 - I'll probably never finish it. It was ok from what I played, but has not aged very well at all.

Mass Effect 3

5. Mass Effect 3

4/5 - Pretty good, but not near ME2's greatness. Also, dat ending. UPDATE: New ending is fine, I like the game more now but not enough to bump up to 5/5

Journey

6. Journey

5/5 - Parts of it were breath-taking. I wish the game was longer... which is probably a good thing.

Diablo III

7. Diablo III

3/5 - Really overrated. You click things, they die. Nothing about the lore demands I pay attention to the story and I really don't feel the depth in the combat that everyone is talking about. It's just boring.

Fez

8. Fez

4/5 - I haven't come close to beating Fez yet, so this score may change. But I've been thoroughly impressed so far.

Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gods & Kings

9. Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gods & Kings

4/5 - Adds some needed elements to Civilization (religion, espionage, expanded diplomacy). I hope they don't stop here and release an expansion that actually CHANGES the game rather than adds to it.

Crusader Kings II

10. Crusader Kings II

4/5 - Very complicated and user-unfriendly but can become addicting very quickly. I sunk 20 hours within the first three days of understanding all the systems.
