Inspired by @slag, I thought I would keep track of the games I beat this year- my backlog is HORRENDOUS and it's high time I did something about it. I've been going at a pretty good pace so far this year, but I keep taking on JRPGs like a lunatic so that slows me down a bit.
Now I haven't keep track all of this year so far, but luckily most of my gaming has been on Sony systems so I can just dig through my trophies and figure out when-abouts I actually finished a game.

1/12 - No Platinum
3/4 - Nearly Platinum, damned MP trophies
3/11 - No Platinum
3/14 - Close to Platinum, need a second playthrough.
3/16 - Platinum - A little trophy mop-up, at this point I've become obsessed with Trophies
3/24 - I toyed with getting the Platinum for this (and still might someday) but the investment involved was just too crazy. And there's still too much of a backlog to focus on it.
3/31 - Relatively quick one, no Platinum to tempt me. Might clean up the couple of trophies I'm missing someday.
4/2 - No Platinum
4/2 - Ratchet & Clank 1: Platinum. Actually worked on this for a few days, managed to finish this and Killzone 3 same day.
4/6 - Finished the main game, going back to mop up Trophies and get the Platinum eventually
