Game of The Year 2014 Users Choice

by johnsublime

It's been a strange 2014. After the last few years of multiple high quality AAA releases coupled with the growing indie market expectation of quantity and quality of games were high this year.

With a lot of this years games being bumped to 2015 this year has been a little dry and I construct this list rather begrudgingly. Game of the Year over the years has been a title given to a truly spectacular game whereas this year it feels like I'm simply choosing the best from the pile.

A lot of my list is compiled of local multiplayer games as there appears to have been a real push from developers created them of late which I really appreciate. I love playing games with actual real people next to me, something developers somehow managed to forget for the longest time.

That being said, there were some great releases this year and I did have a lot of fun. Find my list and add me to your statistics Giant Bomb!

N.B. At time of writing I have yet to play Dragon Age Inquisition which I intend to after Christmas. Hopefully it'll take the top spot in my mind's list.
