GOTY 2018

This year fell flat in so many ways for me. It kills me that RDR2 is not on this list. I loved RDR1 in its time. I just hate the way RDR2 plays, to sluggish for me I think. I may return to it and love it, but I want regret not putting it on my list. That initial impression has left such a sour taste in my mouth. That being said the games I did enjoy this year were great but not my usual fare. To me there was no game this year that came close to my number 1.

Beautiful and challenging platformer with an amazing story about dealing with anxiety and depression. My favorite game this year.
