Alright here are my personal favorite games of 2011.
First a few things to know:
1. The order of the list doesn't matter. I'm not rating the games above or below each other.
2. I'm not making a list of 10 games because well that would just end up being all of the good games released this year. Instead I'm just going to add what comes to mind and that's it.

Portal 2 is one of my favorite games, ever. I usually don't enjoy puzzle games but I fell in love with the first Portal. As you can imagine I was worried a sequel would not be able to stand next to the original. Luckily I was not disappointed and was blown away.
I am a sucker for point and click adventure games. You know what else I love? Rigid detectives and mysteries that need solving.
Just fantastic. I only wish that it was longer because I cannot get enough of this game.
I loved Morrowind and Fallout 3, Oblivion was pretty cool but I couldn't get into it. Skyrim takes the best parts from Oblivion and polishes them into one damn fine product. Also the Bethesda bug ratio is surprisingly low compared to their past history.
