A solid year for games to say the least. As always, I didn't get to every game I planned to play, but I did enjoy more than enough to craft a top ten.

After a hesitant initial foray into this game, I soon fell head over heels for every episode. I can't remember the last time a game made me look forward to each piece of downloadable content with such giddy anticipation. And each episode provided so many chances for unforgettable moments--one of my favorites was discovering I could poison my target with improperly prepared fugu, awesome.
I'll admit that I'm somewhat surprised a remake made it to my number two spot, but when I think about the amount of fun I had playing it, this beat almost every other game on the list. As soon as I finished the story once, I jumped back in again.
