1. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Third times a charm. Well, first time was a charm too.

Aliens vs. Predator

2. Aliens vs. Predator

The single player was cool. The multiplayer could have been godly.

Yakuza 3

3. Yakuza 3

Parents just don't understand. We kidz need to FIGHT!

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City

4. Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City

GTA IV suffered from tall poppy syndrome. Not from me, I've loved everything Rockstar have put out since 2. This was more hours of superbly crafted entertainment.

Alpha Protocol

5. Alpha Protocol

The most underrated title of them all this year. I hated Alpha Protocol when I started it, but pass that first level and your brain suddenly clicks. This game had a gem of a choice system, and while a little cliche had me fretting over some of the decisions for a long long while. So sad to know it'll never get a sequel.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior

6. Sniper: Ghost Warrior

Hey. Remember that sweet ass mission in COD 4? Yeah here's a game of it.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days

7. Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days

Honestly? The only problem with it was that it was short. Kane & Lynch 1 sucked by the way.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

8. Amnesia: The Dark Descent

From the makers of "shit your pants" Penumbra and "oh god I did it again" Penumbra: Oveture comes Amnesia. DON'T FORGET to check it out. Lol whut.

Arcania: Gothic 4

9. Arcania: Gothic 4

More Gothic. Just go there.

Metro 2033

10. Metro 2033

The reviews are solid, the reaction has been solid, but I still feel Metro 2033 deserves a little more attention than it got.
