There are lots of video games with memorable soundtracks, and the ones listed here are some of my favorites. Whether if its because of the entire sound track, or a selection of really memorable tunes, these games had music that stood out from the pack and reached a new level of quality.

Everything from the title screen music on in this game is simply beautiful. Many of my all-time favorite video game musical pieces come from this game.
From Beatles references to memorable tunes, Earthbound was as much about the music as anything else. The thing that I love most about its music is how effective each area's theme was at conveying the correct feelings, and I still remember all of those beats. I also give the game a lot of props the many different battle themes that it used.
