metroid? resident evil? naw. i think geoff keighley and the hazelight guy are friends because those with fragile egos tend to stick together like the last two cheerios in a bowl of milk. prolly why hideo kojima likes them, as well. what do i know, though, i'm just an american who only likes shooters
though, in all honesty, there are so few good games this year, I can see how it takes two could win legitimately. "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.” - George Carlin (i do not necessarily fully endorse messages of that man, necessarily, the quote is just applicable.)
I mean, legitimately, I only played a handful of games I'd want to put on this list. Battlefield is such a disaster. Halo Infinite is decent. Back 4 Blood is horrible. I didn't play Resident Evil or Death Loop. This is definitely another year that Rocket League would have made the list. It's just a really bad year for video games.
This is just a joke. I didn't even play It Takes Two, and I'm sure it's a fine game and that dude who was in charge who thinks he's god's gift to game development is probably a nice man. Geoff Keighley might be a nice guy, too, for all I know.
