These are trailers that I find really irritating - trying to make out that games (or hardware) are far more than they actually are, or will "change the world" or something. Get over yourselves and pull your head out of your arse. Some of these games/hardware are probably pretty good, it's just the quality of the trailers that I detest.

The pomposity of the developers in this trailer of a mediocre game is simply astounding. I remember watching this trailer before the game's original release, and couldn't believe how serious-faced and self-centred it all was. This is the king of pompous trailers, ladies and gentlemen. Watch at your peril.

A trailer for Sony's new handheld device that tells you literally nothing. I defy you to gain any meaningful info from it.

Money wasted on live-action trailers does not convince me to buy a game. It's money that should be spent on game development.

See comments for Halo:Reach above.

Wow, what a complete waste of time this trailer is. Absolutely no game footage whatsoever and virtually no information on the features. Go away and stop wasting my time "Power Gig".

How to look like a dick in front of a green screen. When developers do their little "acting" bit and put on a serious face for a trailer, I really want to slap them in the face and tell them to "STOP!".
Trailer
The single most irritating thing about this particular trailer, is the idiot writing notes backwards on a transparent screen as if he had found the perfect design for the perfect game. By all accounts this game isn't all that good, which makes it all the more irritating. Oh, and the game title is 4 words too long.

Another dick in front of a green screen. This pompous trailer ends with an ambiguous release date. The US date format is M/D/Y. The UK date format is D/M/Y. So is it 9th March or 3rd September? All this confusion can be completely avoided by simply using text instead of all numbers for a date. But I guess that would be too easy, wouldn't it?
Trailer
Yep. Another trailer that doesn't show any game-play footage and instead shows crappy CGI that wouldn't look out of place in the 90s.
