Red Dead Redemption II

1. Red Dead Redemption II

I played a lot of this over the last 3 months, but I could never bring myseld to play for more than one or two hours at a time. I appreciate what the developers were trying to do, but it's just not for me. The characters and the story were wonderfulm but the gameplay just did nothing for me after Ch4. Plus, when you're an adult with a job and real life responsibilities, it's hard to play a game for 80 hours or whatever people recommend. 4/5

Assassin's Creed Odyssey

2. Assassin's Creed Odyssey

I played a lot of Odyssey in a short time. 30 hours in about a week? I did any and all side content I could find, and I think I might have burnt out on it. I just stopped playing one day, and have absolutely no desire to pick it back up again. I loved the 35 hours I spent with it, but I don't think I have any desire to finish it off. I wanted to see the "Cult of Kosmos" through, but I didn't wanna grind out the game just to see that. 4/5

Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor

3. Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor

This was remarkable. I played this EXTENSIVELY as a child in the 90s, and couldn't even get CLOSE to finishing it. There was too much obscure shit to figure out simply in regards to getting about, nevermind the INSANE magic system which has about 8 schools of magic, each with about 10 spells, all with 4 ranks. For those interested, I'm playing a Dark run, and I have all my squad to their max promotion, with grandmaster in everything relevant. Prob gonna finish off this week, but I haven't been into a game this much since...Persona 5? Coming to this after playing AC:O was a big change, as this game does so much with so little, whereas AC does the exact opposite- too much shite in a boring huge world. 5/5
