There's a lot I didn't play this year. Very few of the classic candidates for the 2010 list could steer my attention away from BFBC2 into which I easily sank much more time than into all the other games on my list combined. This year basically was Battlefield all the way whenever I didn't play games together with friends or scenarios like that...

More THE game of 2010 for me. I obsessed about it and the Vietnam expansion so much that I barely played anything else. In fact it is the only 2010 game I added to my personal collection permanently. The singleplayer mode is very entertaining and the multiplayer overshadows just about every online game I have played so far. This game is absolutely mindblowing to me and there's simply no question about its place on my personal favorites of 2010! I'll remember this one for a long time...
It's Bejeweled. Therefore perfect to chill out after waging online war.
Incredible atmosphere and storytelling that achieved a rare sense of dread while playing.
The main point here is: I love the fucking character and all the fitting craziness that surrounds her during this game. I wish they would put out a PC version too.
Sorta like Wolfenstein with a different and very fun setting. I quite liked it. Remote controlling bullets into the enemy is fun...
Very cool setting and imaginative design. A lot of tried and true gameplay mechanics that lead to a very entertaining package instead of seeming stale. Good game to play with a buddy too.
Despite having several issues people pointed out over and over again I really enjoyed playing this with a friend. I loved the gore and overall design (especially the monsters) quite a bit. I also never really got into GoW so maybe that's part of it.
What more could I add to the discussion?!?
