Never been a huge Star Wars fan but for some reason I loved the SNES releases, so much so that they get the top three spots.
More Star Wars, Empire was probably my favourite of the series.
And finally the third and last instalment of the bunch, more of the same in terms of action but this time as a proper Jedi.
Still one of my favourite games on any system, the platforming was fun and challenging and the monsters were awesome.
Lot's of Mario fun and adventure in one box, probably the best value for money on the SNES.
Sure Dark Souls can be tricky from time to time and you will die a lot but back on the SNES there was only one game that gave me that same punishing feeling - Alien 3
Disney brought out a whole catalogue of licensed games in the 90's, though most of them were mediocre at the best Aladdin was easily the best.
I've always loved the Castlevania series but IV made the biggest impression with it's improved combat system, ace score and lot's of exploring to be done.
Not as brutal as Mortal Kombat but getting those punches and kicks just right meant learning the proper combo's,
Easily my favourite beat-em up on any system ever, Mortal Kombat was a breath of fresh air. It was packed full of awesome moves that led to some of the most brutal ends, but better still I could actually button bash and win.. most times.
