Chaotic Evil

"Some men, aren't looking for anything logical. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men, just wanna watch the world burn"

-Alfred on the Joker

The last of the nine alignments, we have here one of the absolute most destructive of them all. Chaotic Evil characters are utter psychopaths who indulge in random cruelty and generally go out of their way to be as evil and destructive as they possibly can, often times doing evil things simply because they derived sadistic pleasure from it. Chaotic Evil characters resent authority in all it's forms, have no sense of honor or loyalty, and are completely unpredictable. Simply put, such characters tend to be incredibly dangerous, and many are also incredibly sadistic as they let their homicidal and bloodthirsty tendencies dictate their every action.

The Joker

1. The Joker

Subject of the page quote and a character who I really don't think needs any kind of given reason for why he fits this. It should be pretty evident to anyone who knows anything about him.

Cletus Kasady

2. Cletus Kasady

Marvel's equivalent to the Joker and every bit the sadistic homicidal maniac that the Clown Prince of Crime is. Indeed, he not only goes out of his way to indulge in random cruelty and violence and takes sadistic delight in killing people, he's also been known to sometimes inspire others to be chaotic and violent too, as seen in the infamous "Maximum Carnage" story.

Norman Osborn

3. Norman Osborn

While Norman Osborn himself is more Neutral Evil, his notorious alter-ego is every bit a Marvel equivalent to the Joker as Carnage is, being a homicidal fiend who delights in causing as much destruction as he possibly can.

Chaos

4. Chaos

Well duh. This also of course extends to all of the individual Four Powers and their many servants.

Daemons

5. Daemons

The chief manifestations of the Four Powers. They are also known as the "Daemons of Chaos". So yeah, pretty unambiguous.

Greater Daemons of Chaos

6. Greater Daemons of Chaos

Really just more of the same.

Khorne

7. Khorne

While all of the Four Powers are Chaotic Evil, I feel like Khorne still fits it the best by virtue of just representing total, unmitigated, homicidal rage and bloodlust.

Kharn the Betrayer

8. Kharn the Betrayer

As both a Chaos Space Marine AND a dedicated servant to Khorne, this shouldn't be a surprise.

Ezekyle Abaddon

9. Ezekyle Abaddon

The current head honcho of the Space Marines. And while almost comically incompetent and inept, he's still pretty dang evil, with the bad habit of destroying the fleets of subordinates who have disappointed him.

Lord Crull

10. Lord Crull

Described as a "raving psychopath who revels in bloodshed". I think that kind of says it all right there.
