Just a "for fun" list that I've done before on other forums. I usually keep it in the "Marvel" universe, or at least comic book characters, but some go way out there and have people like Sherlock Holmes, The Mad Hatter, or even video game characters on their list.

My team leader, and tactician. Captain America is kinda misunderstood, and hated for the wrong reason. A lot of people hate America, and thus a character like Captain America would get a similar type of hate. However, Captain America often goes again the American government (see Civil War series). He really has no loyalty to America at all, but instead he stands for what the American people should be; noble, strong, hard-working, just, and honest. Powers: Physical attributes enhanced to peak of human potential, Expert martial artist and hand-to-hand combatant, All terrain acrobatics, Master tactician and field commander, Vibranium-steel alloy shield.
Every team needs the grumpy, old veteran/badass. Powers: Telepathy, Telekinesis, Technopathy, Enhanced physical attributes, Expert marksman and hand-to-hand fighter.
My team genius. There to solve incredibly complex scientific or medical problems. Plus, he's no slouch in combat. Powers: Animal-like physiology, Superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, durability, Genius level intelligence, Accelerated healing factor, Pheromone manipulation, razor sharp claws and teeth.
Deadpool would be my comic relief. Powers: Regenerative healing factor, Superhuman strength, stamina, agility, and reflexes, Expert marksman, swordsman and martial artist.
