Big Fish Games hosts a lot of casual adventure/hidden object/mobile games. A lot of them are shovelware. However there are definitely some gems among them. Some are quite popular, some you've never heard of.

Yes, there are a bunch of Sherlock Holmes games on Big Fish Games from developer Frogwares. They're pretty good and not your standard adventure games. Go check them out! Avoid the Hidden Object ones though.

The Drawn series are very well crafted puzzlelike games. Very atmospheric and a high graphical fidelity.

Wizard of Oz done in a noir style setting. It's from the creator of the Blackwell series. The game is light on puzzles and focusses more on dialog and story.
