Like most I was ready to write this one of as just another license cash in with Rocksteadys' last game, Urban Chaos: Rite Response, mostly being mediocre dreck, I placed no faith in their talent. But damn I'm gland they proved me wrong! Taking all the things that superhero games do well and adding some metroidvania into the mix means I owe Rocksteady an apology

Not sure if this counts cause I played it as DLC for GTA IV proper, one of my favorite games of last year. It's more of the best open world crime gaming around.

The game that Tools Of Destruction wanted to be and then some, with gorgeous, not quite cell shaded, not quite Pixar graphics and the necessary gameplay additions to keep it interesting this is the best Ratchet & Clank for some time and easily the best platformer on the PS3.

The Codemasters Colin McRae team know how to find that perfect balance between simulation and arcade racing for their games and Dirt 2 is probably the best. While I didn't like the turn they made with the "yeah bro, do a back flip then slam a Dew" attitude and a lessen emphasis on traditional rallying the rush you get flying down a muddied track in Malaysia in an MG 64R metro cannot be topped.

Lets face a universal truth, Breaking shit is fun and this game proves it consistently whether it's with a hammer or a bomb this game done do wreckin' good.

I shouldn't like this game with it's antiquated ideas, clumsy controls and general racism this game probably doesn't deserve to be on this list. But then how do I explain why I have completed it four and a half times?
