Quake 1, the best fps game. I dont count Duke Nukem. It had fantastic tempo. A bit unrealistic maybe, but very fun.

I loved this game. The freedom it had in game-play was rare. Also that hooked you was that you always had do just one more upgrade to your guys. Nothing like what I have seen the new Syndicate version. Different game for a different time ?

This was very fun fighting game. The longevity was because you bought upgrades and became better.
