Since the Wii U didn't reach the number of people that, honestly, it should have, here are the games that I think should either be ported to it or made available for previous owners. Plus: bonus third party ports that really should be brought to the Switch, because the thing looks awesome.

This game is really something special, and it deserves to be played by more people. I'd also take an HD remake of Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 because they're like the best games ever made.
It already looks like this is being ported (or made available for those that have the digital version maybe??) but man oh man is this an amazing game. It needs to be played.
This is an awesome complete package of a game...could use to have all the 3DS levels in the console game and WHERE ARE ICE CLIMBERS?? Anyway, obvious.
Both Bayonetta games are stellar action experiences and should be more widely available.
One of the biggest successes for the Wii U, Mario Maker should move forward in some way.
I mean it's ported to everything else, and it's stellar, so why not?
Excellent platformer. Maybe they could do Returns too.
This was such a fun little puzzle adventure. It's well worth a play.
Really an engrossing experience and tons of fun.
As close as we're likely to get to a new F-Zero and it's pretty fun.
