Really surprised its been 3 years since I've done one of these. Before I start I want to note that Hades was a close contender for 9 or 10, but due to how early access it still is (still missing a lot of weapons, existing weapons still being adjusted) I decided to not include it.
Also not sure if I can add links in the list so here's a more detailed explanation of #10:

Swinging was good, and I felt the story was top notch.
I really enjoyed how hopeful this game was. Regardless of the difficulty it was also a great stress reliever, since all I could think about when playing was Tetris
This was the year I finally dived into VR. It was close between this and Astro Bot, but this game let you high five the mouse.
Loved the sense of scale, and the whole presentation.
I always enjoy this series. Loved all the showcases, and the changing weather was interesting
This is a late entry. When I first started playing I though this was going to round out my top 10, but by the end of the game I was really enraptured with the visuals, music, and gameplay choices. This is a really great game, and if I had more time to reflect on it before generating this list it might be ranked even higher.
It was nice to finally be able to merge two of my hobbies: Playing games, and spending too much time watching HGTV
I started this after finishing Tomb Raider, and I think the comfort of life stuff (can't really die from falling) that was absent in TR made me enjoy this more. I also liked how ridiculous the story has gotten
Not much to say on this one, but I liked it.
