This is what a 12 year old with a gaming company in the 90's would design... And it also feels like a 12 year old programed it. Strange characters, poor balance, Strange move execution, awesome game for children of the 90's.
At first glance you think, "what?" then after playing it you think, "what?". Thats the whole experience behind Jackie Chan in fists of fire. you almost can't believe its real.
The name alone, Shaq Fu, I really don't know what to tell you here. Its a fighting game featuring Shaquille O'Neal battling through an alternate universe. Yah I don't need to go any farther.
Claymation stop-motion graphics does not lend itself well to fluid balanced game play. When you look at the cover your thinking "oh they know its bad". After playing it Im not so sure, it was more of just bad, bad. Its sad to think that this may have been a legit try at a real fighting game
the thing that holds killer instinct back is the fact its almost a good game. Its too cheap and broken to be good ,but to well rounded and playable to be truly terrible. Playing the game just makes you wish it was a little bit better.
