Best of 2010

I haven't played a ton of games in 2010 but the one that surprised and impressed me the most would by far be: Bayonetta. I went from being not caring at all about the hack n' slash genre to gaining HUGE respect for the genre and realizing it's potential. Bayonetta is the finest the genre has to offer. It has the ridiculous and "never too serious" style that makes the characters and story so much damn fun. And that's how I'd describe Bayonetta: pure fun punctuated with boss fights that are some the best and consistently fantastic boss fights I've ever played.
