    Overview

Team Silent was an internal development team at Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo responsible for the Silent Hill series. They produced the primary titles in the franchise from the original game through Silent Hill 4: The Room. Team Silent disbanded during the production of Silent Hill 4, and the series has since been developed by external companies such as Climax Group and Double Helix Games. Akira Yamaoka, the sound director of the series, was the last team member to work on the franchise until he left Konami on December 2, 2009. The last Silent Hill game that Yamaoka worked on was Silent Hill: Shattered Memories.

Some of the team's former members have since worked on the Siren series.
