  • This mobile suit was d by Treize Khushrenada during the time he was placed under confinement by the Romefeller Foundation. Based on data from the Tallgeese and the other Gundams, and in keeping with Treize's philosophy, the Gundam Epyon, eschews cowardly long-range weapons in favor of chivalrous close combat. However, when the suit becomes a part of White Fang, a pair of vulcan guns are added to the head. Its main weapons are a segmented, whip-like heat rod mounted on a shield, and a powerful beam sword whose energy is supplied by a direct connection to the Epyon's generator. Treize also installed a modified version of the Zero System known as Epyon System in the cockpit, making this suit a powerful opponent. The Epyon can also transform into a "mobile armor" mode (referred to as 'dragon-mode') for high-speed flight and cruising in space. The unit resembles a mythological dragon in this mode, however its primary weapons are inaccessible save for the Epyon Claws which are used as landing gear in this form.

Equipment: Beam Sword, Epyon Claws, Epyon Shield, Heat Rod (chain housed in Epyon Shield.), Vulcan Blasters.

  • Taokaka is the personification of innocence in the BlazBlue world. She is a happy-go-lucky catgirl who only wishes the best for her friends and family. Her only desire is to protect those she holds dear to her heart, or who offer her food (in her mind anyone who offers her food is a good person).

Unfortunately, she is also the least intelligent character in BlazBlue. Like most cats, Taokaka’s daily routine consists of eating and sleeping, and she can, and often will, forget anything she does or is told to do within three steps or seconds. Of course, it goes without saying that she is not totally dumb. Taokaka often gives nicknames to those she meets so she can try to easily remember them later. She does actually know who they are, but prefers the nickname routine.

Of course, much of her simple-minded traits can be compared to how a cat’s mindset actually works, especially when it comes to how fascinated by things she can be (such as a pair of breasts) or how her mind tends to seemingly drift away from more serious things.

She relies on her inborn instincts as opposed to a trained fighting style, and she naturally uses magic element, even without a formal education as to how. Her hands and feet also have large retractable metal claws. What’s more, these claws seem to change slightly depending on what attack she wants to do at the time; even though they seem to default as curved, knife-sized flat metal blades, they can also appear as serrated saws, “can-opener” style hooks, or even more ornate blades that resemble arrowheads. What she lacks in strength and durability, she makes up for in agility and speed and extreme mobility, wailing on her opponents and catching them off guard with lightning fast, unpredictable maneuvers and techniques. Tao is so fast that she can sometimes an afterimage of herself when she attacks. Yet as Tao doesn’t appear to have any superhuman durability and has a chaotic fighting style, it is easy for her to get overwhelmed by a skilled or powerful foe.

  • Batsu, the "Hot-Blooded Transfer Student"

Foul-mouthed, belligerent, and impulsive. These are the first three words that best describe Batsu. Nonetheless, he has a strong sense of justice and a kind heart. He is often misunderstood, however, due to his forward and rough personality. His dislike for dogs was due to the fact that he was bitten by one when he was little, although he could no longer remember exactly when; nonetheless, it was a traumatic experience for him.

Batsu is an all-around character. With a decent arsenal of moves and some great combos, he makes a good teammate for anyone. His primary weapon comes by way of the Crescent Moon Kick. The best way to use this move is to first lead into it with a Textbook Combo, then chain on the Crescent Moon Kick. Then, as the player lands, they can have Batsu immediately go for a throw. If the opponent begins to catch on, using a Team-Up Technique as the follow-up is wise to catch the foe attempting to throw the player back. At a far distance, the player can be an annoyance by throwing random Guts Bullets on the ground and in the air. If the opponent whiffs an attack, the player can go right into a Textbook Combo to finish him/her off.

Batsu has several special moves with different variations, here are a few as an example.

Guts Upper - Batsu charges forward with an uppercut, launching the opponent into the air. It cannot, however, be followed by an Air Combo.

Guts Bullet (Japanese: 気合弾 Kiaidan -- Energy Focus Blast) - A projectile-type energy blast attack. The distance that this blast can travel is determined by the punch button pressed in the button combination. Easy to execute. Burning Batsu's version of this attack travels slightly farther. It can also be done in the air, wherein he fires the Guts Bullet 45 degrees downward. The ground-based version, however, can be deflected back to him by certain opponents.

Crescent Moon Kick (Japanese: 三日月キック Mikazuki Kick) - Batsu delivers a crescent kick with knockdown effect. Burning Batsu can immediately attack afterwards before the opponent can if this move is blocked, since the knockdown effect is eliminated.

Super Shooting Star Kick (Japanese: 全開流星キック Zenkai Ryuusei Kick (normal -- Hyper Meteor Kick); 全開彗星キック Zenkai Suisei Kick (Burning -- Hyper Comet Kick)) - A more powerful version of the Shooting Star Kick. It, however, still suffers the same effects of the Shooting Star Kick when blocked.

When called upon, Gold Lightan will transform into his Giant-like state measuring 30 meters high and weighing 200 tons to save the Earth from the invasions of King Ibalda.

Gold Lightan fights the evil forces of King Ibalda and his alien robots with his robot teammates. Gold Lightan and his allies are sentient and thus, do not require a pilot. Although he is sentient, Gold Lightan does have a captor Hiro Taikai who keeps him when he's in his Zippo lighter form and calls him to action against King Ibalda.

Gold Lightan is a Giant character and thus cannot have a partner. Although the fact that he has Super Armor and can counter-attack through hit-stings tries to remedy this problem. Gold Lightan has some pretty decent combos that can easily lead into one of his Hypers or Grabs, and Lightan has a solid corner game. Gold Lightan also has Snap-back, the ability to force an opponent's partner out of the screen and switch it with the one in reserve.

A couple of Lightan's moves: Tank Slice (This move makes Gold Lightan swing his arm forward in a horizontal arc. This is a good offensive move to use against opponents since you can cancel it.)

Gold Quake (The hit box covers the entire ground.)

In Ripto's Rage, and Year of the Dragon, there are powerup gates that temporarily give Spyro the ability to be invincible, fly, spit massive fire blasts (superflame), and charge extremely fast (supercharge).
