@rongalaxy: From the way you describe it, could you consider Resident Evil a hybrid Adventure Game/Horror/Shooter? I know there are some who have considered Psychonauts as an Adventure Game/Platformer, with the whole "take item from inventory, use in slot, solve puzzle" mechanic.

As for OP's question: Grim Fandango, but buy it on PC. For me, controllers are more for action-y games.

If I had to guess:

1. GB has had developers on their videos before, and they generally act much more casually than you would expect from your usual interviewer. In some cases (Tim Schafer, Brad Muir), they're actually friends. I guess some people incorrectly assume that developers only hang out with other developers.
2. It's not surprising anymore to see fans become creators. Several YouTubers have either had fan-games or mods themed around them, or have actually made or participated in making a game themselves.
3. GB often comes up with ideas for games that don't already exist. Although the internet is proof that many people get to the idea stage, and never go further.

I got all of mine out, and I believe it was two at a time. My whole family has small jaws, so our mouths just weren't big enough for there to be space for them.

TL;DR: I went to see an art exhibit of Tim Burton's work awhile back. Among the pieces displayed were the puppets for Spider and Centipede from James and The Giant Peach...which I was recently informed he didn't actually work on. I hate when someone gets credit for something they didn't do.

So I ask you: Did you ever attribute your favorite performance to the wrong actor, someone who wasn't in that particular movie? Or something along those lines?

I sent Patrick a couple Tumblr messages awhile back, but I don't have a good track record of getting replies from anyone about anything. I think the extent of the message was just asking for his recommendations on how to get into something gaming-related that I wasn't familiar with, but I still sometimes worry I came off as pushy or creepy.

On one hand, I get the frustration, because I've never really wanted a Microsoft console...save for a very small handful of exclusive games. These games are not, I believe, enough motivation to get a whole other console, and to pay for XBOX Live, if I'm barely going to use it.

On the other, I think exclusives give a console more "personality". I could barely tell the PS3 and the 360 apart, they had so many games in common. Meanwhile, with the XBOX and the PS2, you knew exactly why you got which console. They were aimed at different groups of people.

I've only played Sonic Advance 2, which I liked. I'd like to play more, but I don't know which ones to play, and which to avoid (besides avoiding 2006 and Sonic Boom).

@sessh: Americans have saunas, but they're basically indoor heated rooms where people sit, wearing towels, or small, warm, bubbly pools. And they're mostly only found in gyms or hotels.

No personal experience with hearing video game music in other places, but I read once that some of the Medal of Honor music showed up in Battlestar Galactica or something, because they shared a composer.

I was never planning on getting Spacebase DF9 or Hack & Slash, so I admittedly never paid attention to those, and thus, do not have the right to comment on them. But I like what I have of Broken Age, and I enjoyed the other DF games I already own, so as long as I get the finished product I paid for eventually, I'm complacent.

I never pay attention to release dates anyways, just as a rule of thumb. They're never generous enough, no matter who or what you're talking about.

@zevvion: @fredchuckdave: I prefer promoting people who need the promotion. Most people already know Pewdiepie, Markiplier, Game Grumps, etc. They have way over 10x the viewers these two do.

And I'll consider it, but I've got my hands full with the LP'ers I'm already watching.
